Renamon is Rika Nonaka's partner Digimon. She is knowledgable of many things involving humans. Her fighting skills are very strong and she is extremely resourceful.
Appearance[]
Renamon is tall and powerful for a Rookie level Digimon, and far more mature, considering her jaded view of life. She can give quite an intimidating expression whenever one sees her penetrating, icy-blue eyes and feral features, although she does not mean to give that impression. Renamon is a master martial-artist and can run at fast speeds, even to keep up with the traffic. It is also mentioned in episode 18 of the show Digimon Tamers by Vajramon that, not only is she agile, but she is also beautiful.
Description[]
She became Rika's partner after she received the D-Arc, shortly after a Digimon Cards tournament. Many Digimon seemed to want her to be their partner, but she said that she only needed a strong Digimon as her partner. Thus, Renamon entered Rika's life.
At first, Renamon's view of humans were that they just aided Digimon towards Digivolution. Likewise, Rika thought that the Digimon were just fighting machines. The two had a distant relationship, but as time passed by, the two saved each other in various occasions and their friendship grew stronger. This was first seen in the original show as Renamon digivolved into Kyubimon after Rika's outburst of emotion when she thought that she would lose Renamon. It reached its zenith when it enabled the final Biomergance, thus forming Sakuyamon.
She gets along well with Guilmon (although not at first) and Terriermon, but she seems to have an interesting love-hate relationship with Impmon, as seen in episode 19 of the original show, where she is concerned for his safety, and also when the Tamers and Digimon were going to leave the Digital World, as she feels it is imperative to rescue him. In the Dimensions books, we see a large increase of romantic feelings between Renamon and Guilmon, to the point that Takato planned out something to make the two kiss, and was successful. This relationship continued to progress, just as their human partners' relationship did. After Terriermon created a program to give digimon gender, a necessary addition once Yggsdrasil was destroyed, the two digimon actually created a digi-egg. The digi-egg eventually hatched into Rejimon, the partner of Rey (or "Rei") near the end of Book Six. Renamon is a very loving parent, happy to look after with her and Guilmon's new daughter.
